Seen by the architect 2026-09-24 while another worker ran browsers on Loreana: 3 runs of tests/browser.mjs gave 275/0, 274/1 (console check: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED for selector.js during the 'ident down' phase - a page load races the deliberate ident stop) and 222/1 (waitFor #notokens timed out after 10 s). deploy.sh refuses on red, so a flaky gate blocks deploys. Make the ident-down phase not race page loads, and the waits robust (or scale timeouts) under load.
