   Now live on components.hybriel.worldapi.org — A date field that opens the month view: click a day and it shows as YYYY-MM-DD; typing works too.

   Test:

   1. Open the Date picker from the home page of https://components.hybriel.worldapi.org.
   2. Click the field: a month opens under it. Click a day: the date is in the field.
   3. Type 2028-02-29 by hand: the month jumps to February 2028 and marks the 29th.

    Why it failed (creator): "these asshole components bypass the entire system and write fucking javascript files!!!!!" — every component here is a hand-written .js file. Rework: pure Hybriel (hl:web) components, no .js at all; where Hybriel lacks something, stop and report the gap.

    Checked live in a real browser (Chrome, real mouse clicks): clicking the field opens the month, typing 2026-10-05 works and the month follows — but clicking a day does NOT put it into the field (value stays empty). Probably the popup hides on the field's blur before the click lands. Fix it and prove it with a real mouse click in the gate. The range picker's day clicks do work — compare.

    Works live now: click the field on https://components.hybriel.worldapi.org/date-picker, click a day — it is in the field (checked in a real browser: arrival=2026-09-17). The earlier failure was a stale stylesheet from Cloudflare's cache (hybriel#102), gone since all apps got new file addresses per build. The code has no JavaScript.
