Sign-in forgets the code step on reload

After "Send me a code", a reload (or the phone reloading the tab while you read the mail) shows the email form again; the code can't be entered.
Expected: the page remembers the waiting code for this browser and shows the code field until it is used, expired, or "Other address" is clicked — on / and on /signin/<rid>.
Details: reported by the creator 2026-09-25 06:35: "the code field is gone for no reason … which is a hard design fail".

Being built that way: after sending, the page moves to /code (app logins: /signin/<id>/code); it shows the code field while a code is pending for this browser, else goes back to the email form.
Architect commented Deployed: after "Send me a code" the page moves to /code (app logins: /signin/<id>/code) and keeps the code field on reload. Test:
- On https://ident.worldapi.org (or an app's login button) send yourself a code.
- Reload the page: the code field with your address is still there.
- Enter the code: you are signed in (for an app, it continues to the app). Details: /code without a waiting code sends you back to the email form.
