A layout component placed in a parent shell with its page slot inside nested markup renders the page once and hydrates cleanly. Test: a shell ContentFirst { Sidebar { … } main { slot } } used as the app shell renders the sidebar once; no hydration claim errors. Details:
- Found by tracker worker w088 (2026-10-03, tracker mission 031, adopting the layouts.worldapi.org theme): the theme doc's pattern ContentFirst { Sidebar … main { slot } } in the parent shell puts the page slot marker mid-line; WebFramework.hl document() takes the text before the marker as indent → the page HTML repeated the sidebar ~50× and hydration failed (claim errors).
- Workaround in the tracker: Sidebar + main { ContentFirst { slot } }. layouts.worldapi.org's docs get a note until this is fixed.
